Programs Available At Valley Behavioral Health
At Valley Behavioral Health, we offer both sub-acute inpatient and inpatient care at both the adolescent and adult level, as well as both partial hospitalization and outpatient programs. Depending on your specific needs, our expert staff can help place you in the right treatment program.
Acute Inpatient Child & Adolescent Services
Our acute inpatient services are available to children ages 4 to 10 and to adolescents ages 11 to 17. These programs are designed for young people who need immediate stabilization or crisis intervention. Each admission into these programs is done on a case-by-case basis, and after a thorough examination of that child’s needs. Common disorders for which young people are admitted into our acute inpatient child and adolescent services include:
- Major depressive disorder
- Disruptive mood dysregulation disorder
- Bipolar disorder
- Schizophrenia
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
Acute Adult Inpatient
Valley Behavioral Health offers comprehensive inpatient mental health care services to adults as well as children and adolescents. Similar to our younger programs, this level of care is designed for crisis stabilization, however, we are dedicated to helping those who suffer from ongoing mental health difficulties.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our IOP programs are designed to help provide adults with an array of therapeutic programming options who may be stepping down from our inpatient services, or who may need higher level of care than what is offered in a standard outpatient service. Our intensive outpatient program is available for men and women, aged 18 and older, who are struggling with mental health concerns.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
In our effort to provide care at every level, our PHP programs is available for adults ages 18 and older who are either stepping down from intensive care, or who may be starting their treatment at a lower level. This program is offered 5 days a week, for 5 hours a day, which allows patients to return home each day after treatment.
