Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry is a 130-bed free-standing behavioral health hospital with treatment available to adults and seniors suffering from mental health issues. We provide care for a range of conditions, including:

• Suicidal thoughts
• Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
• Self-harm
• Aggression
• Substance abuse

A Continuum of Mental Health Care

We are prepared to help patients struggling from conditions that range from slightly problematic to crippling. In-depth assessments are conducted for all potential patients to determine the appropriate level of care necessary to reach his or her treatment goals. Depending on each patient’s needs, we create an individualized mental health and addiction treatment plan that may involve detox services and medication-assisted treatment.
