About Newport Academy – Teen Treatment Center

America's Answer to the Teen Mental Health Crisis

Teenagers struggling with trauma, substance use disorders (SUDs), and mental health issues can find healing and care in the Newport Academy. We take a comprehensive look at the life of someone staying with us in order to give them the best care possible. Our program focuses in on the 12-17 age range, and this specificity allows us to create specific, meaningful changes in our guests’ lives.

The Newport Academy residential program provides evidence-based treatments and experiential therapies that address multiple aspects of recovery. The teenage demographic treated in the residential program also receive 20 hours a week in mentoring, which is geared towards developing independence and confidence. The bulk of their treatment, 30 hours per week, will be dedicated to the clinical and experiential therapy.

To ensure that these personalized and effective treatments succeed, the Newport Academy is staffed with credentialed, compassionate recovery professionals. Their credentials include PhD (Psychologist), LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor), and MD (Medical Doctor and Psychiatrist). We want to provide a healing opportunity for these teens so they can get back on the right foot on the road to success.

Testimonials

"My daughter joined Newport a few weeks ago and I can't say enough about the wonderful assistance we have received so far. I'm excited for what the future holds for us."

Angel E.

"Newport academy gave me the environment to flourish into a new man and I am not just saying this. I genuinely owe my new life to them, I came in high and was crashing for days straight. All the staff was so cool, like genuine friendships, I miss my men and women from there. I'd recommend newport academy to anyone trying to battle substance abuse and haven't been able to by yourself, you don't have to do it alone. That's what I learned, along with the most growth happening when you're vulnerable. I'd say go if you're battling addictions."
