Effective Substance Detox & Drug Addiction Treatment Center in Salem, VA
Mount Regis Center is a fully licensed and intensive outpatient program dedicated to providing treatment for alcohol and substance abuse. Located in Salem, Virginia, our facility is in a residential setting in order to create a comfortable atmosphere for our patients. We get to the root of underlying emotional and behavioral issues that contribute to addiction, such as grief, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, isolation, codependence, stress, emotional management, conflict resolution, compulsive disorders, guilt, and shame. We employ a 24/7 intake team available to new patients seeking treatment, and we customize specialized treatment plans to cater to them with clinical assessments.
Our staff members are licensed (including certified abuse counselors) and aim to know patients on a personal level to meet their treatment needs. We treat addictions to alcohol, prescription drugs, meth, opiates, marijuana, benzodiazepines, cocaine, and amphetamines. We provide medical detox monitored by registered nurses and doctors.
We also offer cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive therapy, and focusing on irrational thoughts to minimize distress. Group therapy connects patients to healthy coping strategies and relaxation techniques. Additionally, individual programs, such as art programming, fitness programs, yoga, nutritional counseling, and spiritual therapy are included to heal our patients.
We target patients ranging from 18 to 25 years of age with our Young Adult Inpatient Addiction Program. This program instills essential life skills into young patients based on their addiction. In our program, our young patients will experience life skills groups, CBT, self-discipline exercises, equine therapy, ropes course, and our standard therapy practices.
Our partial hospitalization programs, or day treatments, are beneficial to patients leaving our intensive inpatient treatment. Day treatments provide patients with needed attention with group and individual therapies and 12-Step programs. Our outpatient addiction program is ideal for patients with substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders who have other commitments and responsibilities. Although they have a stronger control over their addiction, we provide a free evaluation. Patients must be sober for 72 hours to qualify. Our healing model utilizes a mind-body connection in order to discover optimal ways for patient recovery, helping to ensure a life of sobriety.
