About Mission Connection - California Virtual Telehealth
Mission Connection’s virtual program brings structured outpatient care to people anywhere in California, with no need to travel to an office. Adults and teens can take part in treatment online, with the option to meet in person at the San Juan Capistrano office when that works better. Many clients combine the two, which lets treatment adapt to work, school, and family commitments.
The Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is built around a full weekly schedule: more than 50 hours of group sessions to choose from, a group session every day, and one-on-one therapy each week. Sessions use CBT and DBT skills along with EMDR, mindfulness, and trauma-focused approaches. Topics include setting goals, building recovery strategies, anger and forgiveness, and healthy living. Clients who need medication support can see a psychiatric provider, when appropriate.
Mission Connection treats mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and trauma together with substance use, so one team can address both. Families can join in, since family therapy and education sessions are available virtually. Adults, teens, LGBTQ+ individuals, and veterans are all welcome.
The team works with many commercial insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Anthem, Health Net, and Kaiser Permanente. Call to check your coverage and learn how to start virtual treatment.
