11 years ago this place saved my life. The Staff made me feel safe and comfortable. A lot of the staff were also in recovery so it made me feel as though there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Now I am an Addictions Counselor and I owe a lot of it to the amazing staff at Galax.

I was there last year for alcohol. I was there for 30 days. I needed help and they gave me help. The facility was clean and the staff was excellent. I went to every class and had notes from every counselor was great. And I would recommend this facility to anyone. The food was excellent.

A family member received treatment here. If you are really ready to make a change and embrace the process it is awesome. Staff are caring and knowledgeable. They have enough clinical support to address dual diagnosis. The environment has a positive vibe and the food is good! The family sessions on visiting day have been helpful to me.
