WhiteSands Alcohol and Drug Rehab is part of a Florida addiction treatment network whose Tampa presence centers on Hyde Park in South Tampa, where they offer Day/Night partial hospitalization with housing in four historic homes. They treat addiction to alcohol, opioids and fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, benzodiazepines, and prescription stimulants and sleep medications, with a strong focus on co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Their continuum includes medically assisted detox and residential care at their Plant City and Fort Myers campuses, followed by Day/Night (PHP), intensive outpatient, outpatient services, and medication-assisted treatment. Placement follows ASAM criteria, and admissions will steer someone toward a lower level of care when that fits better.

Detox relies on slow medication tapers with daily visits from a board-certified addictionologist, and residential patients get two individual or family sessions a week plus five daily groups chosen with their therapist from a menu that includes CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused therapy, family systems work, relapse prevention, and biofeedback. A Life Skills Guide helps each person plan their meals, sleep, exercise, and therapy every day, a habit meant to carry over after discharge. At the Day/Night level, people attend about five hours of programming five to six days a week, see a psychiatric provider weekly, and gradually take back responsibilities like cooking and managing their own medication, with buprenorphine and Vivitrol continued as needed. The same medical and psychiatric providers stay with patients as they step down, and an alumni program offers peer support, events, and family involvement after treatment ends.
