About Wheeling Comprehensive Treatment
Wheeling Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is an outpatient opioid treatment program in Triadelphia, West Virginia, operating within the Comprehensive Treatment Centers network owned by Acadia Healthcare. They focus specifically on opioid use disorder, serving adults 18 and older of all genders through medication-assisted treatment (MAT) that combines prescribed medication with counseling. Their goal is to help patients stabilize and build the habits that support lasting recovery. Same-day admission is available, and they accept most insurance plans.
More than a standard methadone clinic, they can prescribe methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, and naltrexone. Care begins with a thorough evaluation, after which patients sit down with a physician to weigh their medication options and decide together which one fits best. Alongside medication, patients take part in confidential one-on-one counseling to explore what led to their opioid use and how it has affected their lives, as well as small staff-led groups focused on recovery education and peer support. Take-home dosing is available for eligible patients, which can make ongoing treatment easier to balance with work and family life.
