About Weber Human Services
Weber Human Services is a public behavioral health organization in Ogden, Utah, created through a cooperative agreement between Weber and Morgan county governments to serve as the local authority for substance use, mental health, and senior services. They are the only organization in Utah that runs all three under one administration, and they serve residents of both counties. Their addiction and recovery program treats substance use disorders, including alcohol use, as well as co-occurring mental health conditions. Levels of care include separate residential programs for men and women, outpatient counseling, and crisis and emergency services.
Care begins with an evaluation by a trained clinician, and each treatment plan is built around that person’s clinical recommendations. Services include individual, group, and family counseling, medication-assisted treatment, urinalysis testing, case management, supported employment, and peer support from recovery coaches. They offer evidence-based treatment tracks for both adults and youth, and clients can also connect with walk-in mental health care and prevention programs within the same organization. They accept Medicaid and private insurance, and people without insurance can receive treatment on a weekly sliding fee based on income and family size, regardless of their ability to pay.
