About United Family Center

United Family Center is an outpatient behavioral health agency in Kennewick, Washington, with offices across South-Central Washington offering mental health and substance use services to youth, adults, and families. They opened in 2020 focused on early childhood education and family support, then expanded into behavioral health after seeing how few local options existed. Clinicians meet one-on-one with each participant to understand what’s driving their struggles, and they adjust individualized treatment plans as progress unfolds, from the first visit through aftercare.

Their substance use and mental health staff provide both education and treatment, and they partner with local schools so young people can get help on or off campus. A mobile Community Access Team brings behavioral health support to youth and families in schools and community centers. For families facing abuse, neglect, or serious conflict, they offer trauma-informed, culturally responsive services such as family preservation, crisis family intervention, supervised parent-child visitation, and SafeCare, an evidence-based home-visiting program for parents of children up to age 5. Staff can also help clarify insurance coverage and expected out-of-pocket costs before the first appointment.
