Their approach pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapy, addressing the medical, psychological, and emotional sides of addiction. They primarily treat opioid use disorder, including dependence on heroin, fentanyl, oxycodone, and other prescription painkillers. Their care also extends to 7-OH and alcohol. The program is accredited by The Joint Commission, and there’s no waiting list: new patients can walk in on weekday mornings between 5 AM and 12:30 PM and be admitted the same day.
Treatment starts with a thorough evaluation that includes hearing each person’s story, which then shapes an individualized plan built around their needs and goals. Patients can receive methadone, buprenorphine (Suboxone), or naltrexone to ease withdrawal and cravings, with education on naloxone for overdose reversal. Care is delivered by a team of nurses, an addiction medicine physician, and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors, several of whom are in long-term recovery themselves, and one counselor speaks English, Spanish, and Arabic. They also work with hospitals, providers, and families on longer-term wellness plans for patients moving beyond initial stabilization.
