Twin Town Treatment Centers is an outpatient addiction treatment provider with a location in Los Alamitos, California, one of six sites they run across Los Angeles and Orange Counties. They treat drug and alcohol addiction in both adults and adolescents through day treatment, intensive outpatient programming (IOP), continuing care, and a relapse track. Their approach rests on the idea that recovery happens best at home, where clients can use new coping skills right away while coordinating care with their doctors, mental health providers, families, schools, and employers. Accredited by The Joint Commission for more than 25 years, they are in-network with most major insurers (excluding Kaiser), are certified to treat Medi-Cal patients, and begin with a no-cost assessment.

The IOP runs three hours a day, up to six days a week, and focuses on abstinence, relapse prevention, disease-model education, problem solving, stress management, and family communication, with day treatment offering roughly eight hours of daily programming for more acute needs. Adults and adolescents meet in separate rooms with separate counseling staff, and a family group helps loved ones learn about codependency, family roles, and boundary setting. Clients move from Phase I into shorter Phase II and III sessions while gradually increasing their involvement in 12-step or other support groups, followed by four months of aftercare that many plans cover at no added charge. Former clients who relapse can return for ten IOP sessions, alumni meet monthly, and anyone needing detox is screened at intake and treated by affiliated physicians while attending IOP; a separate alcohol and drug education program also serves people with SAP, EAP, or DOT requirements.
