About Trivium LLC

Crossroads Counseling Center, listed here under Trivium LLC, is a community-based counseling practice in Janesville, Wisconsin, offering mental health and substance use therapy for people of all ages. They were founded in 1973 in a Main Street storefront and were among the first state-certified outpatient mental health clinics in Wisconsin. Their approach treats social and emotional struggles together and draws on a client’s home, school, and community supports. Care centers on individual outpatient therapy and groups at the Janesville clinic and at two Sun Prairie clinics, and they accept all major insurances.

Their multidisciplinary team uses evidence-based, trauma-informed, and strengths-based methods, with an emphasis on cultural humility and treating clients with dignity. At the Sun Prairie location, they run an Adolescent Day Treatment program for teens roughly 13 to 19. It meets Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon for 8 to 12 weeks and relies heavily on group therapy. The program works as a step-down after inpatient, residential, or partial hospitalization stays, or as a way to head off more intensive care, and it addresses depression, anxiety, trauma, bullying, school avoidance, self-harm, eating concerns, and substance use. Teens usually enter through a referral from a provider, caseworker, or school, followed by an assessment appointment.
