Triumph Treatment Services is a community-based provider in Yakima, Washington, offering a continuum of care for substance use and mental health disorders to people from across the state. Their levels of care include inpatient treatment for men at the James Oldham Treatment Center, intensive inpatient treatment for women, and long-term residential care for pregnant and parenting women. They also offer outpatient substance use treatment in group and one-on-one formats, in person or by telehealth. Care begins with an assessment, available on a walk-in basis at their downtown outpatient clinic, followed by placement in the right program, and they accept Washington Apple Health plans and several private insurers but not Medicare. No one is turned away because they can’t pay.

Their programs are built on the belief that substance use and mental health can’t be treated separately, so co-occurring care runs throughout. The women’s programs pay particular attention to how past trauma shapes addiction. The Pregnant and Parenting Women’s Program and the Parent-Child Assistance Program help mothers stabilize their recovery while caring for young children. People who want to stop using opioids can start medication-assisted treatment with Suboxone, Brixadi, Sublocade, or Vivitrol without waiting for detox, with take-home withdrawal support kits and peer recovery support. Adults can also get outpatient mental health care, including individual, group, and family therapy and medication management with an on-site psychiatric nurse practitioner, and case-managed emergency, transitional, and permanent housing is available to clients in recovery.
