About Triumph Treatment Services

Triumph Treatment Services is a community provider in Yakima, Washington, offering a continuum of care for substance use and mental health disorders to people from across the state. Their levels of care include inpatient treatment for men at the James Oldham Treatment Center, intensive inpatient care for women, long-term residential treatment for pregnant and parenting women, and outpatient substance use treatment in groups or one-on-one, either in person or by telehealth. Care starts with an assessment of about two hours, with walk-ins accepted for outpatient substance use assessments, and results are typically reviewed about a week later. They accept all Washington Apple Health plans and several private and exchange plans but not Medicare, and they offer low-income assistance so that no one is turned away for inability to pay.

Triumph’s programs rest on the view that substance use and mental health can’t be treated separately, so co-occurring care is built in, and the women’s programs give clients space to explore how trauma has shaped their choices and their addiction. People who want to stop using opioids, including after an overdose, can begin medication-assisted treatment without waiting for detox, using Suboxone, Brixadi, Sublocade, or Vivitrol along with take-home withdrawal support kits and peer recovery support. Adults 18 and older can also receive outpatient mental health care for anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and relationship concerns through individual, group, and family therapy, with medication management from an onsite psychiatric nurse practitioner. Beyond treatment, they offer case-managed emergency, transitional, and permanent housing, and their Parent-Child Assistance Program helps mothers stay in recovery and build stable homes for their families.
