About Taunton Comprehensive Treatment Center
Taunton Comprehensive Treatment Center is an outpatient opioid treatment clinic in Taunton, Massachusetts, and part of the Comprehensive Treatment Centers network. They serve adults 18 and older of all genders who are living with opioid use disorder, using medication-assisted treatment (MAT) that pairs prescription medication with counseling to build a foundation for lasting recovery. Getting started is designed to be quick, with same-day admission available, appointment scheduling around the clock, and most insurance accepted.
Patients can receive methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone®, and a member of the medical team meets with each person to assess their situation and decide which medication fits best. These medications ease withdrawal so people can stop using opioids without the severe discomfort that often derails early recovery. Because medication alone doesn’t address everything addiction touches, they also provide individual and group counseling, where patients can work through the emotional, behavioral, and social effects of opioid use and begin making the lifestyle changes that support long-term stability. Take-home dosing is available, which can make ongoing treatment easier to fit around work and family life.
