About Spurwink Services

Spurwink Services, listed in Bridgton, Maine, is a nationally accredited nonprofit offering behavioral health and education services to children, adolescents, adults, and families across the state. They began with a single house in Portland and now run more than 50 locations, supporting people living with mental health challenges, emotional and behavioral disorders, autism, and intellectual or developmental disabilities. They also place master’s-level therapists directly in public schools and embed behavioral health specialists in primary care offices and community health centers, making support easier to reach. For older youth, vocational services at their Chelsea and Glickman Academy schools help build job skills through hands-on work experience.
