About Springfield Comprehensive Treatment
Springfield Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is an outpatient opioid treatment program in Springfield, Massachusetts, and part of the Comprehensive Treatment Centers network operated by Acadia Healthcare. They serve adults 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder, including addictions to heroin, prescription painkillers, and other opioids. Their approach is built on medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which pairs medication to help stop opioid use with counseling that builds the skills needed to stay in recovery.
The clinic is authorized to provide both methadone and Suboxone, and staff work with each new patient to decide which medication fits their situation best. Care begins with a detailed assessment, and the results shape a personalized treatment plan that reflects each person’s goals and the specific ways opioid use has affected their life. Same-day admission is available, appointments can be scheduled around the clock, and walk-ins are accepted for people who need help right away. Take-home dosing is offered for eligible patients, and the center accepts most insurance plans while helping those without coverage navigate the process.
