Southwest Behavioral & Health Services is a nonprofit community behavioral health organization based in Phoenix, Arizona, serving the Phoenix metro area along with rural Maricopa, Gila, Mohave, Coconino, and Yavapai Counties. Founded in 1969, they build their care around an integrated model that coordinates primary care, mental health, and substance use treatment, aiming to address the chronic physical illnesses that often go untreated in people with addiction or mental health conditions. Their services include outpatient mental health and psychiatric care with medication monitoring, addiction treatment, intensive inpatient care for people in crisis, supported and residential housing, prevention and school-based counseling, and lifespan services for people with autism spectrum disorder.

For opioid use disorder, they run four opioid treatment clinics in Arizona, including the 7th Avenue Outpatient/Opioid Treatment Program in Phoenix. That clinic provides methadone and Suboxone alongside individual and group counseling, psychiatric evaluation and medication, and case management. They also help patients with practical needs like employment and housing, and they offer DUI education and court-ordered domestic violence education, with bilingual and gender-specific options available. Dosing starts at 5 a.m. on weekdays and is also available on Saturdays, which can make it easier to stay on track while working, and selected programs across the organization hold CARF accreditation.
