About Southeast Healthcare

Southeast Healthcare is a nonprofit community health provider in Woodsfield, Ohio, and part of an organization that has served eight Ohio counties since 1978. They offer mental health, chemical dependency, primary care, and homeless services under one roof, built on the belief that everyone can grow and change. Their integrated, whole-person model addresses physical health, behavioral health, and everyday wellness together. They serve people of all ages and backgrounds regardless of ability to pay, accept Medicaid, Medicare, and many private plans, and offer income-based discounts.

Care is trauma-informed and evidence-based, and each patient receives an individualized plan that keeps them actively involved in decisions about their treatment. Through their Joint Commission-certified Primary Care Medical Home, part of a Federally Qualified Health Center, patients can see a primary care provider, psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner, nurse, and treatment team in the same building, with care coordinated across specialties. Daytime crisis services are available at all locations, and some counties also offer after-hours help. Additional supports include an in-house pharmacy, dental care, tobacco cessation, vocational services focused on employment and life skills, and help applying for Medicaid or Marketplace coverage, although services vary by location.
