About Solstice Counseling and Wellness Ctr
Solstice Counseling and Wellness Center is a family-owned, CARF-accredited outpatient program serving adults in South Jersey, with offices in Woodbury, Pemberton, and Cherry Hill. They treat substance use disorders involving alcohol, opioids such as heroin, fentanyl, and oxycodone, stimulants like cocaine, meth, and Adderall, Xanax, and marijuana, along with co-occurring mental health conditions and gambling problems. Their whole-person approach looks at biological, psychological, social, and spiritual needs, and an intake assessment determines whether someone fits their Outpatient Program (OP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), or medication-assisted treatment. Because care is fully outpatient, they don’t offer residential stays or 24-hour detox, so clients keep living at home while attending treatment.
The IOP runs 9 to 12 hours a week on a 16-week curriculum, with day or evening options. It combines a bio-psycho-social assessment, drug screening, group therapy, family sessions, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, vocational counseling, and aftercare planning. Standard OP usually meets once or twice a week for individual and group work focused on practical recovery skills. Their MAT+ program pairs counseling with Suboxone, monthly Sublocade injections, or Vivitrol for opioid or alcohol dependence, and they also offer anger management, family support on enabling and coping, recovery court services, and gambling treatment either in person or by telehealth.
