Sobriety First Treatment Center is an outpatient addiction treatment provider based in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, with additional locations in Sauk Centre, Monticello, Saint Francis, and Winsted. They pair clinical counseling with peer support, and each person gets an individualized plan built around their goals and daily obligations. Their core level of care is intensive outpatient programming with day and evening options, so many clients can keep working while in treatment. In the intensive outpatient program, each client works with a care team made up of a primary counselor, a behavioral health practitioner, a recovery coach, and a mental health provider when needed. Clients start with two to five three-hour group sessions per week and move through three phases at their own pace, eventually tapering to weekly meetings, with an optional aftercare phase where they support newer members. Active clients can also join a Moral Reconation Therapy cognitive skills group in a hybrid in-person and virtual format, and one-on-one coaching from a Peer Recovery Specialist helps with sober living and reconnecting with the community. Families can attend monthly programming at each location that covers addiction as a family disease, communication skills, and self-care, and free intervention services help loved ones explore options ranging from residential care to outpatient support. They also offer DUI education, Driving With Care classes, virtual anger management based on Reality Therapy, and domestic abuse counseling groups that meet Minnesota statute requirements.
