ServiceNet Inc is a nonprofit mental health and human services agency serving Greenfield and communities throughout Western Massachusetts, with a dedicated branch of substance use and recovery services alongside their broader behavioral health work. They view addiction as an illness and work with adults and adolescents facing a wide range of alcohol and drug problems, as well as family members worried about someone they love. Their recovery options span outpatient counseling, transitional recovery houses, sober supportive housing, and peer-led community support.

Outpatient care begins with a thorough assessment, after which clients are paired with therapists trained in evidence-based approaches for individual and group therapy, with added support available through Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics. Their recovery houses, including Beacon House and the Orange Recovery House, give adults 18 and older in early recovery a substance-free living environment staffed around the clock by a clinical supervisor, case managers, and support staff. Residents must already be medically stable and through withdrawal, and they receive case management that can connect them to counseling, vocational rehabilitation, education and literacy programs, and housing help, while the Moltenbrey Apartments in Turners Falls offer a next step toward independent sober living. In Pittsfield, their Living in Recovery community, founded in 2018, provides non-clinical peer support, workshops, and social events that welcome every pathway to recovery and invite families and allies to take part.
