About Serenity Lane
Serenity Lane is a private nonprofit addiction treatment provider that has served Oregon since 1973, and their Eugene office is one of several outpatient sites in a statewide network. They treat adults 18 and older for alcohol, fentanyl, heroin, meth, cocaine, Adderall, marijuana, and other substance use disorders, with care for co-occurring mental health conditions built into their approach. Outpatient services include Level I outpatient, Level II intensive outpatient, and DUII services. Their nearby Coburg campus provides medical detox, residential treatment, long-term residential care, and day treatment (partial hospitalization), so people in the Eugene area can step up or down through a full continuum of care with one organization.
Group therapy is the core of their programming, and individual counseling is added as needed. Residents are paired with a peer mentor who is further along in treatment, and a spiritual advisor is available for those who want that support, though it is entirely optional. Their medication-assisted treatment program for opioid use disorder uses naltrexone, buprenorphine, or methadone alongside counseling, family education, and ongoing monitoring across levels of care. They also run a family program, an alumni network, specialty tracks for first responders and healthcare professionals, including licensure and employment monitoring, and long-term residential care for people facing chronic relapse. They are CARF accredited, hold an Integrated Co-Occurring Disorder license from the Oregon Health Authority, and offer Oregon’s only state-licensed ASAM Level 3.7 medical detox, with admissions seven days a week and most insurance accepted.
