About Serenity Hills Life Center

Serenity Hills Life Center is a female-only addiction recovery center set in the hills of West Virginia, serving women whose lives and families have been affected by substance use. They take a person-centered, whole-self approach, building each woman’s plan around her own needs within a continuum of care. Care begins with a medical evaluation and draws on psychological and psychiatric support alongside holistic services. They also offer dedicated programming for pregnant and postpartum women, which can matter a great deal to expectant or new mothers looking for help.

Primary treatment centers on individualized, trauma-focused therapy, paired with relapse prevention planning, peer support, and family work aimed at rebuilding trust and communication. For women dealing with chronic pain, they provide non-opioid pain relief alternatives, and their pregnant and parenting interventions offer specialized support for mothers and mothers-to-be. Beyond clinical care, residents have access to alternative therapies, tailored nutrition plans, recreation electives, self-care practices, and education and job training to prepare for an independent life. Support continues through the first year of recovery, and they keep an emergency response team ready for moments when a client needs rapid help, with residents living in dedicated sober living spaces such as the Orchard House, the Magnolia House, and Apple Blossom Cottage.
