About Seneca Health Services
Seneca Health Services is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic based in Summersville, West Virginia, and they have been serving residents of Greenbrier, Nicholas, Pocahontas, and Webster Counties since 1976. They treat substance use disorders and mental health conditions in both youth and adults, and they also provide crisis services and support for people with intellectual disabilities. Their network includes four outpatient clinics and two intensive treatment locations, and care is also available by telehealth. Every course of treatment begins with an individual assessment, and a sliding fee scale helps make care affordable for those who qualify.
Individual and group therapy focus on accountability, coping skills, and healthy routines, and certified addiction professionals and clinicians trained in the TRUST model for stimulant use are on staff. Psychiatric providers offer medication-assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol use disorders, and because they are trained in both mental health and addiction, they can treat co-occurring conditions together. At their Crosswinds Center, adult men and women can complete medically managed withdrawal with a private bedroom and bathroom, and admissions are accepted around the clock. Case managers help with housing, health care, and job or school goals, peer recovery coaches with lived experience offer ongoing support, and a Quick Response Team reaches out after non-fatal overdoses to connect people with treatment or provide harm reduction education and naloxone training.
