About Savannah Treatment Center
Savannah Treatment Center is an outpatient opioid treatment program in Savannah, Georgia, and part of New Season, a network that has treated opioid use disorder since 1986 and runs more than 80 clinics nationwide. They treat opioid use disorder, including heroin and prescription painkiller addiction, by pairing medication with counseling. Their approach treats addiction as a disease that responds to steady, long-term care, and they put particular weight on keeping patients engaged in treatment. Care centers on medication-assisted treatment with methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone, and an Intensive Outpatient Program is available for people who need more structure than standard outpatient care.
A New Season physician chooses each patient’s medication to stop withdrawal and cravings, and counselors provide individual, group, and family sessions alongside it. The Intensive Outpatient Program meets three times a week for three hours over at least six weeks. It covers wellness, recovery, and resiliency education, weekly family sessions, coping and emotional regulation skills, trigger identification, and crisis support, and it accepts adults who are pregnant, involved with the justice system, or living with mental health or chronic health conditions. Once patients reach a stable dose, they may qualify for take-home medication and video-based counseling and medical visits, and staff connect them with help for housing, food, transportation, employment, phones, and insurance enrollment. They accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial insurance plans.
