Rosewood Recovery is an outpatient addiction and mental health treatment center in Newtown, Pennsylvania, serving adults 18 and older and their families across Bucks County, Montgomery County, and nearby Mercer County, New Jersey. They treat alcohol use disorder, opioids such as fentanyl, heroin, oxycodone, and kratom, benzodiazepines, cocaine, methamphetamine and prescription stimulants, marijuana, hallucinogens, inhalants, and polysubstance use, with integrated dual-diagnosis care for anxiety, depression, and trauma. Care is offered through a Partial Hospitalization Program, an Intensive Outpatient Program, and General Outpatient services, followed by an alumni group for ongoing support. The program is licensed by Pennsylvania’s Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs, accredited by The Joint Commission, and accepts most commercial insurance plans but not Medicaid or Medicare.

PHP clients attend group therapy five days a week and, on the substance use track, individual sessions at least twice weekly, along with psychiatric evaluations, medical appointments, and medication-assisted treatment when appropriate. The IOP steps down to group therapy three days a week, with morning or evening options for substance use clients, plus weekly individual therapy, and it typically runs about 8 to 12 weeks. Clinicians draw on CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care, and they bring in music and art therapy, family and couples counseling, and holistic options like yoga, meditation, chair massage, and time with a therapy dog. Their small size allows for individualized attention, and they also help with practical barriers through transportation assistance, housing referrals, and connections to self-help groups.
