Rosecrance Jackson Centers is the Sioux City, Iowa, presence of Rosecrance Behavioral Health, a nonprofit that has treated substance use and mental health disorders for more than 100 years across more than 60 physical and virtual locations in the upper Midwest. They serve both teens and adults, treating alcohol, opioid, cannabis, stimulant, sedative, and tobacco use along with co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Their care is outcomes-based: clients complete periodic surveys, and physicians and clinicians use the results to adjust each person’s plan as treatment progresses. Across the organization, the continuum includes residential programs, intensive outpatient care, one-on-one therapy, community mental health services, and recovery housing.

In Iowa, Rosecrance offers intensive outpatient programming for adolescents and adults, both in person and virtually. A typical IOP schedule runs about nine hours of group counseling per week for eight to 10 weeks, followed by a lighter step-down phase of roughly five hours weekly and then individualized continuing care. Programming blends group and individual counseling, relapse prevention planning, family involvement, and an introduction to 12-Step meetings, with dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy used to help clients with co-occurring disorders manage their emotions. The organization also provides medication-assisted treatment with FDA-approved options such as Suboxone, Sublocade, oral and injectable naltrexone, Campral, and Antabuse, paired with counseling to ease cravings and lower the risk of relapse.
