About Rosecrance Inc

Rosecrance is a nonprofit behavioral health organization headquartered in Rockford, Illinois, that has treated people with addiction and mental health conditions for more than 100 years. They operate over 60 in-person and virtual locations across Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Indiana, serving both teens and adults. They treat alcohol, opioid, stimulant, cannabis, sedative, and gambling problems alongside co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, and eating disorders. Their continuum includes residential care, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, one-on-one outpatient therapy, and structured recovery housing for people in early recovery.

Residential clients take part in individual, group, and family therapy, along with education and life skills work, and there is a dedicated adolescent residential track. Their IOP typically starts at about nine hours of group counseling a week for eight to 10 weeks, then steps down to roughly five hours weekly before moving to individualized continuing care, with sessions offered in person or virtually and incorporating CBT, DBT, relapse prevention planning, and an introduction to 12-Step meetings. For alcohol and opioid use, they offer medication-assisted treatment with options such as Suboxone, Sublocade, oral or injectable naltrexone, Campral, and Antabuse. Physician-led teams track progress through regular surveys to adjust each plan, and some community sites accept Medicaid, while their foundation provides charity care to families who need financial help.
