About Rogers Behavioral Health
Rogers Behavioral Health is a large, not-for-profit behavioral health system serving the Milwaukee area, with hospital and residential sites in nearby West Allis, Brown Deer, and Oconomowoc. They treat addiction alongside a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, PTSD, and eating disorders, and they place particular emphasis on co-occurring disorders. Their continuum includes inpatient hospital care (with support for drug and alcohol withdrawal), residential treatment, partial hospitalization, in-person and virtual intensive outpatient, and one-to-one outpatient services. Children as young as 8, teens, and adults are served in separate programs, and patients can step up or down between levels without changing providers.
For substance use, care centers on cognitive behavioral therapy and medication-assisted treatment, with coordinated family involvement to support recovery after discharge. Adults can receive residential addiction care at the Herrington Center for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery in either Oconomowoc or West Allis, while teens have a dedicated mental health and addiction residential program in West Allis. Depending on individual needs, clinicians may also use dialectical behavior therapy, behavioral activation, exposure-based approaches, experiential therapy, and spiritual care, and each day blends group education with individual skill-building alongside a multidisciplinary team. Residential stays typically run 30 to 60 days and partial hospitalization or IOP about four to eight weeks, and telehealth PHP and IOP are available to residents of Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Colorado, Florida, and Tennessee.
