About Riverside Recovery Center

Riverside Recovery Center is an outpatient addiction treatment program in Spokane, Washington, that has served the community since 1994 under owner Don Davis. They treat addiction to alcohol and a wide range of drugs, including opioids, methamphetamine, cocaine, benzodiazepines, cannabis, synthetic cannabinoids like K2 and Spice, hallucinogens, inhalants, and nicotine. Their team of physicians and behavioral health clinicians views addiction as a chronic, treatable disease and works to address both its physical and psychological sides with dignity and without judgment. Services include assessments, intensive outpatient treatment, relapse prevention, and medication-assisted treatment, with sessions offered seven days a week during the day and evening.

For opioid and prescription drug dependence, they run dedicated Suboxone and Subutex groups, and their curriculum covers cravings, post-acute withdrawal, shifting perspective, and relapse prevention. They also offer an adolescent track, a self-referred program for people without legal involvement, and alcohol and drug education for those who don’t meet the criteria for a dependency diagnosis. Their deferred prosecution program meets Washington State requirements for people facing DUI charges, and families can attend seminars and ongoing groups on co-dependency, family systems, and the disease concept. When someone needs a higher level of care, they arrange inpatient treatment for adults and adolescents through a long-standing partnership with Riverside-Milam Recovery Centers in Kirkland, with assessment and roundtrip airfare included, then provide aftercare groups once clients return home. They accept health insurance, Medicaid, and Washington Apple Health, and they also offer flexible payment plans.
