About Rigel Recovery Residential Services
Rigel Recovery Residential Services is a residential addiction treatment program for men and women in Marietta, Ohio, run by Oriana House, a nonprofit that has provided behavioral health and community corrections services across Ohio since 1981. The residential center opened in 2019 and moved to a larger location in 2021, where they expanded their services. Their approach looks at the whole person, including physical and mental health, relationships, home and work needs, sober support, and past trauma when relevant. Services are certified by the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, Medicaid is accepted, and other costs are set on a sliding fee scale.
Residents typically stay 60 to 90 days, which gives them time and structure to build coping and recovery skills through individual and group therapy while working with a counselor on personal goals. Licensed clinicians, chemical dependency counselors, and a nurse practitioner staff the facility around the clock, and medication-assisted treatment with Vivitrol, buprenorphine, and injectable buprenorphine is available. Trauma counseling and specialized groups for particular needs or demographics round out the program, and families can attend free information and support sessions. In the wider Southeast Ohio region, Rigel also offers outpatient counseling, mental health care, peer support, aftercare, and adolescent assessments and counseling with after-school appointments.
