About Ridgeview
Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services is a community behavioral health organization serving East Tennessee, including Jamestown, with care for mental illness, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. They focus on meeting complex needs with safety, acceptance, and compassion, and they accept TennCare/Medicaid, Medicare, and most major insurance plans, with financial assistance for those who qualify. Their services include inpatient care, outpatient therapy, medication management, and supervised residential and transitional housing. For people in crisis, they run a 24/7 crisis line and a crisis walk-in clinic open weekdays from 9am to 9pm.
Care begins with a walk-in or same-day appointment, where a licensed clinician completes an evaluation and works with the person to build an individualized plan of care. Their substance use programs support people from the earliest stage of recovery, and they refer those who need more intensive treatment to partner providers. Beyond clinical care, they offer psychosocial rehabilitation, peer support centers with free meals, recreation, and job-training computers, and employment specialists who help people with mental illness or co-occurring disorders find suitable work. Specialized programs include Mothers & Infants, Sober Together, telemedicine, criminal justice and forensic services, care coordination that links physical and behavioral health, a mobile health clinic, and services for children and youth.
