About Renaissance Recovery Center

Renaissance Recovery Center is an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program in Gilbert, Arizona, that pairs evidence-based therapy with 12-step principles. Their team of master’s-level therapists, many with long-term recovery of their own, treats substance use as a symptom of deeper wounds like shame, trauma, and isolation. They help people recover from alcohol, opioids, fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, kratom, and marijuana, along with co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Care includes a weekday partial hospitalization program, a 90-day evening intensive outpatient program, aftercare, and telehealth options.

The intensive outpatient program meets several evenings a week in small groups and adds at least one individual session weekly, plus family counseling. Therapy draws on cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interventions, SMART Recovery, relapse prevention, life skills training, and meditation, with dedicated work on shame, trauma, and family dynamics. They also offer separate tracks for men and women, dual diagnosis care with medication management, a family program focused on healing relationships and ending enabling, and a support group for people recovering from opioid dependence. After the core program, clients can continue in weekly aftercare and an alumni group, and families can get help planning a professional intervention.
