Recovery Works Healing Center is an outpatient addiction and dual diagnosis program in Dayton, Ohio, operating several sites across the greater Dayton area, including one location dedicated to youth. They treat substance use disorders together with co-occurring mental health conditions, prioritizing quality over quantity so each client gets individual attention. Their levels of care include an intensive outpatient program (IOP), a non-intensive outpatient program (NIOP), and aftercare, supported by medication-assisted treatment and recovery housing. They accept all Ohio Medicaid plans and many commercial insurance plans, and walk-in assessments are available on weekdays.

The IOP meets three times a week for three-hour group sessions paired with individual counseling, case management, and MAT as needed, while the NIOP steps down to two-hour groups twice weekly over roughly 12 weeks. For opioid and alcohol dependence, MAT with Suboxone (buprenorphine) or Vivitrol (naltrexone) is combined with counseling, and dual diagnosis care uses psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy for conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, and schizophrenia. Treatment also covers relapse prevention, education about how addiction affects the brain and body, and crisis intervention, while case managers help clients connect with medical care, employment counseling, and housing assistance. After formal treatment ends, aftercare offers individual sessions ranging from weekly to monthly, and their recovery housing gives people without a stable home a structured, supportive place to live.
