About Recovery Innovations Inc

Recovery Innovations is a private, nonprofit outpatient treatment provider in Eatontown, New Jersey, serving more than 500 clients a year since their founding in 2004. They treat substance use disorders alongside mental health concerns and other compulsive behaviors, working from the view that substance use is often a symptom of deeper issues that call for a holistic, individualized plan. They are licensed by the state to offer standard outpatient, intensive outpatient (9 to 19 hours per week), and partial care (more than 20 hours per week). The program is open six days a week, and evening hours are generally available, which can make it easier to keep up with work and family obligations.

Care starts with an in-depth assessment covering family background, substance use, education, employment, legal, medical, and mental health history, which then shapes a personalized treatment plan. Treatment combines individual therapy, gender-specific, process, and educational groups, family therapy, and couples or marital sessions, with a strong emphasis on the relationship between client and therapist. Clients enrolled in a substance use program can also see a consulting psychiatrist for evaluation and monthly medication monitoring, and drug testing through urine, breath, saliva, and hair samples is a standard part of care. They also prepare formal substance abuse evaluations for court proceedings and regularly work with clients referred by attorneys and state and federal agencies, making them a practical option for people with court-mandated treatment requirements.
