About Recovery Centers of America
Recovery Centers of America (RCA) at Bracebridge Hall is an adult drug and alcohol treatment center in Earleville, Maryland, set on a 560-acre waterfront estate along the Sassafras River near Elkton. They offer a full continuum of care, including medical detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and sober living for men. Patients can move between these levels without changing providers. Detox includes 24-hour medical monitoring and usually lasts 3 to 7 days for withdrawal from alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, or kratom, while residential stays typically run 30 days or longer. Over roughly a decade, they have served nearly 10,000 people, and they can accommodate pregnant patients.
Treatment combines a personalized care plan with individual and group therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and daily 12-Step meetings. Medication-assisted treatment is available when clinically appropriate, and a dedicated case manager coordinates each person’s care. PHP meets 5 to 6 hours a day, five days a week, in person or in a hybrid format, while IOP meets for three 3-hour sessions weekly in person, virtually, or in a hybrid format. They also run RESCU, a program for military members, veterans, and first responders that offers a separate boarding unit and trauma-focused therapies such as Seeking Safety and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and they accept TRICARE. Family education and an active alumni network help support recovery after discharge.
