Recovery Centers of America at Lighthouse, in Mays Landing, New Jersey, is the outpatient program at one of RCA’s addiction treatment locations. They treat substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions, and they approach recovery as an ongoing process that has to fit into everyday life at home, work, or school. Their Partial Care program meets five hours a day, five days a week, for people who need daily structure but can sleep at home or in sober living. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) runs three-hour sessions three to five days a week, with morning and evening options, and telehealth sessions are available for people who face transportation or scheduling barriers.

Therapy combines individual and group work using cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing, along with relapse prevention, case management, and psychiatric care. Medication-assisted treatment is offered as an optional part of a personalized plan, and the options include buprenorphine and naltrexone-based medications for opioid or alcohol use disorders. Families can take part through education and coaching, while 12-Step support and measurement-based tracking of progress are built into the RCA care model. After treatment, patients stay connected through alumni meetings and social events, recovery coaching, peer mentoring, referrals to local recovery networks, and long-term aftercare planning.
