Ray Recovery is an outpatient addiction and mental health treatment center in Hudson, Ohio, serving Akron, Summit County, and the wider Northeast Ohio region. Their evidence-based approach treats the whole person rather than the substance use alone, with individualized plans for alcohol, cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, opioid, benzodiazepine, and prescription drug addiction, along with co-occurring conditions like depression and anxiety. Care includes a daytime partial hospitalization program of roughly 25 hours across five days and an intensive outpatient program of about nine hours over three afternoons or evenings. Clients can also join a virtual IOP from anywhere in Ohio or an executive IOP scheduled around demanding careers.

Therapy draws on CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, trauma therapy, motivational therapy, contingency management, and Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT), alongside family counseling and holistic elements such as yoga and mindfulness. Medication-assisted treatment, including Vivitrol, is available, and psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and counselors coordinate each person’s care. Specialized tracks serve men, women, veterans whose substance use is tied to service or injury, and licensed professionals worried about their careers. Clients can also connect with sober living, get help keeping work and housing stable, and continue support through aftercare and alumni programs, with Medicaid, CareSource, Medical Mutual, TRICARE, and VA Community Care accepted in-network.
