About Raise the Bottom Training and
Raise the Bottom is a CARF-accredited outpatient addiction and mental health treatment provider with a clinic in Pocatello, Idaho, plus locations in Boise and Nampa. Their roots are in opioid treatment, and their Opioid Treatment Program remains central to their work, offering medication-assisted treatment with methadone, Suboxone, and Vivitrol to ease cravings and stabilize opioid use disorder. They also treat alcohol, drug, and prescription medication dependence, along with anxiety, depression, trauma, and bipolar disorder. Care is fully outpatient and includes intensive outpatient (IOP), virtual IOP, individual and group counseling, and psychiatric medication management, so people can stay at home and keep working while in treatment.
Their addiction IOP is designed for adults who need more structure than weekly counseling but not an inpatient stay. It combines counseling, peer group support, individualized treatment planning, and ongoing clinical monitoring, with MAT built in when appropriate and the option to step care up or down as needs change. For those facing distance, transportation, or scheduling barriers, the virtual IOP offers scheduled counseling, group sessions, and regular check-ins through a secure online platform anywhere in Idaho, and a separate mental health IOP serves people whose main concerns are psychiatric. Families can take part in a dedicated program with education about addiction, joint and individual counseling, support for children and teens, and guidance on boundaries and relapse prevention. They are in-network with Idaho Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare, and many major insurers, and same-day enrollment is available.
