Quality Behavioral Health (QBH) is an addiction treatment provider serving Detroit and other communities across Michigan, offering care that ranges from medically supervised detox through residential and outpatient treatment. Their services also include medication-assisted treatment with methadone, Suboxone, and Vivitrol, mobile methadone units, recovery housing, case management, and women’s specialty programs. QBH treats the whole person within their social world, so family involvement and reconnecting with community supports are central to how they help clients build a stable, substance-free life. Before finishing treatment, each client works with staff on an aftercare plan covering medical care, support groups, and local resources.

In withdrawal management, clients have 24/7 nursing, physician oversight, and access to a psychiatrist who can prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, which is useful for anyone managing co-occurring mental health conditions. Counselors use motivational interviewing to help clients prepare for the next stage of care. Residential stays can be short or long term and include at least weekly individual therapy, therapeutic and educational groups two to four times a day, family therapy, stress management, recreation, and on-site or off-site AA and NA meetings, with spiritual services available on request. Clinicians draw on cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-focused and person-centered approaches, and relapse prevention therapy, and they use the Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model for clients with histories of violence or trauma.
