Porch Light Health in Cortez, Colorado, formerly known as Cortez Addictions Recovery Services and The Recovery Center, is an outpatient addiction and mental health clinic serving Cortez and Montezuma County as part of a larger network across Colorado and New Mexico. Their focus is low-barrier, judgment-free medical care, with individualized plans for people struggling with opioids, heroin, alcohol, benzodiazepines, and meth. Adults can enroll in enhanced or traditional outpatient programs, adolescents have a dedicated youth outpatient track, and medications for addiction treatment are available, including buprenorphine (Suboxone and Sublocade) and naltrexone (Vivitrol), with walk-ins welcome for MAT.

Counseling includes individual, group, and family therapy grounded in evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, and psychiatric services support people managing co-occurring mental health conditions. The clinic also offers court-ordered programming in partnership with the 22nd and 6th Judicial Districts, Montezuma and La Plata Counties, and state and federal parole, along with DUI education and therapy, victim impact panels, anger management, and relapse prevention. Women, including those who are pregnant, can access specialized services, and young people with a first offense can join a First Offender Program. Ongoing recovery support covers case management, peer recovery support, a life skills program, recreation center passes, and telehealth for those who can’t always come in person.
