About Pennyroyal Center

Pennyroyal Center, now operating as CAYA Collaborative Care, is a community behavioral health organization serving Hopkinsville and 17 other counties across western and south central Kentucky. They provide mental health, addiction, and intellectual and developmental disability services, and they are a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic with round-the-clock crisis support. For substance use, a therapist first completes an assessment to recommend the right level of care. Options range from individual and group counseling, intensive outpatient, and office-based opioid treatment to non-medical detox, residential care, and sober living.

Their Park Place Recovery Center is a CARF-accredited residential program meeting ASAM Level 3.5 standards, with separate programs for men and women. Residents take part in therapy and education groups, family sessions, twelve-step meetings, psychiatric referrals when needed, and weekly aftercare once they finish. Specialized residential options include Genesis for co-occurring disorders, the 100-bed Trilogy program for women, a VA-referred program for homeless veterans, and Haven4Change, which helps mothers work toward regaining custody of their children. Outpatient clients have access to Vivitrol for opioid addiction, peer specialists, case management (including during pregnancy), drug testing, and DUI, drug court, and other court-ordered services, and some residential stays can earn Good Time Credit toward a sentence.
