About Pathways Wholeness Center
Pathways Wholeness Center is the residential treatment program of Pathways Real Life Recovery, set in the rural town of Glenwood in south-central Utah. They serve adults 18 and older in a co-ed setting, offering dual diagnosis care for substance use alongside anxiety, depression, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, and PTSD or other trauma-related conditions. Their approach treats mind, body, and spirit together, using evidence-based therapies and measurement-based care, where clients complete regular assessments that clinicians review to adjust treatment. Through the wider Pathways organization, clients also have access to detox, outpatient programming, sober living, medication management, and a dedicated trauma track.
Residential stays begin with a medical clearance and a full clinical assessment, and clients help shape their own treatment plan. Therapy focuses on building coping and life skills, restructuring unhelpful beliefs, managing triggers, and strengthening self-awareness, with family therapy, art therapy, and fitness support woven in. The secluded location near lakes, national parks, and national forests allows for many outdoor experiential activities, while the trauma track targets unresolved trauma as a root cause of addiction. For those stepping down from residential care, Pathways runs an intensive outpatient program for teens and adults that involves 9 to 15 hours of individual and group therapy each week, with evening and weekend groups available.
