About Pathway Counseling Services
Pathway Counseling Services is a Pennsylvania-licensed drug and alcohol counseling practice on West Chester Pike serving Chester and Delaware counties, with a focus on adults and adolescents whose substance use has led to legal trouble. They are on the approved provider lists for both counties, and their DUI counseling is accepted by other states as well. Their work centers on drug and alcohol evaluations, ARD and IPP evaluations, and outpatient group counseling for issues such as DUI charges, underage drinking, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, probation or parole violations, and suspended licenses. Beyond substance use, they also offer anger management, including a workplace-focused track, and a domestic violence class.
Evaluations can usually be scheduled within two to three days, and clients receive a copy of their evaluation at the first visit. Groups are open-ended, so people can start right after their evaluation and choose the weekday evening, weekday midday, or Saturday morning sessions that fit their schedule. There are dedicated groups for first-time offenders, an adolescent and young people’s group, and an aftercare group, alongside individual, couples, and family therapy. Completion letters are issued on the final day, paperwork can be faxed directly to courts or other designated contacts, and sessions are also available by video through Zoom.
