About Palm Beach Gardens Recovery
Palm Beach Gardens Recovery is an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center in North Palm Beach, Florida, about 15 minutes from West Palm Beach, serving adults throughout Palm Beach County. They treat substance use disorders alongside co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, and trauma, beginning each client’s care with an ASAM-based assessment led by their medical and clinical directors. Their continuum includes a partial hospitalization program (30 hours a week), intensive outpatient (15 hours a week in morning or afternoon sessions), and standard outpatient (1 to 3 hours a week), so the intensity of care can shift as needs change. For people whose home environment makes sobriety difficult, they also run separate FARR-certified sober living homes for men and women, and they are licensed by Florida DCF, accredited by the Joint Commission, and in-network with Cigna and TRICARE.
Therapy combines individual sessions, therapist-led group work, family counseling, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy, with dual diagnosis care built into the same treatment plan. Medication-assisted treatment with Suboxone, buprenorphine, or naltrexone tablets is available at every level of care, can begin on the first day, and is managed by a single in-house nurse practitioner who handles prescribing and dose adjustments; when detox is needed first, they arrange placement beforehand. Accountability is reinforced through drug testing three times a week, ongoing medication management, and required therapy participation for anyone on MAT. They also offer specialty tracks for veterans and first responders that emphasize trauma-focused care and peer support from people with shared experiences.
