Orchard Mountain Recovery is an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center in Charlottesville, Virginia, serving the city along with Albemarle, Fluvanna, Nelson, and Greene counties. Founded in 2015 by addiction counselor Randall Luster, they work from the belief that recovery is possible for anyone who needs it, focusing on building motivation, establishing abstinence, and developing coping skills that reduce the urge to self-medicate. Their levels of care include standard outpatient treatment and an evening intensive outpatient program, both designed so clients can keep up with work and family. The IOP is in-network with most insurance providers.

The intensive outpatient program meets three evenings a week, with sessions tapering as clients reach recovery milestones, and centers on group counseling that targets unhelpful thinking patterns, relapse prevention, and practical skills training. Individual counseling complements the groups, weekly family groups help loved ones understand addiction as a chronic disease, and every client receives a medical evaluation from a licensed provider who stays involved throughout care. Routine urine and breath testing is used to guide treatment adjustments and rebuild family trust rather than to punish. After initial treatment, a continuing care program offers ongoing groups on relapse prevention, emotional health, and relationships, and they also provide state-required ASAP and VASAP education for people facing impaired-driving charges or court-ordered evaluations.
