About Operation PAR Inc

Operation PAR is a Florida nonprofit addiction healthcare provider that has supported people and families affected by substance use for more than 50 years. Their Bradenton location in Manatee County is one of the clinics in their Medication Assisted Patient Services (MAPS) program, which focuses on opioid addiction, including heroin, prescription painkillers like OxyContin, and fentanyl. They treat the physical, psychological, and emotional sides of substance use. Across their wider network, they also offer medical detox, outpatient services, telehealth, prevention programs, and residential treatment for adults and adolescents at their Pinellas County campuses.

At MAPS clinics, patients receive methadone, buprenorphine, or Vivitrol (naltrexone) together with counseling and behavioral therapy to lower the risk of relapse and overdose. Care starts with an in-depth behavioral analysis, a physical exam, and lab work, which lead to an individualized treatment plan, and specialized options are available for pregnant patients. Drug screening uses oral fluid testing, with same-day on-site testing at intake and results usually back within 48 hours. All MAPS locations accept Medicaid, are state licensed, and are CARF accredited, and they use electronic health records to help keep wait times short.
