About North Texas Addiction Counseling Inc
North Texas Addiction Counseling & Education (NTACE) is a nonprofit outpatient addiction treatment provider based in Arlington, Texas, with additional locations in Fort Worth and Weatherford. They treat addiction as a complex, chronic condition rather than a moral failing, and they build care around a person’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health. Their services include medication for opioid use disorder, Standard Outpatient (SOP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs, peer-led recovery support, and a sober living home for women.
Their opioid program uses methadone or buprenorphine (Suboxone) alongside individual and group counseling, regular check-ins, and urine drug testing, and patients who show stability over time can earn take-home doses. SOP meets once or twice a week and IOP three to four times a week, with daytime and evening sessions, and both combine group work on relapse prevention, one-on-one counseling, and education on how substance use and mental health affect each other. Peer recovery coaches with lived experience help clients set goals, find jobs, housing, or schooling, connect with sober activities, and involve their families, with transportation help for those who qualify. Women moving on from treatment can also live at Grace House, a structured, peer-based residence focused on building daily routines and independence.
